4. Description of the service
Epifany is an AI-assisted perspective tool designed to help users examine questions, challenges, assumptions, and situations from different angles.
You may submit a prompt describing a question, problem, or situation.
Epifany may then use artificial intelligence, visual stimuli, and internal reasoning processes to generate a perspective or reflection.

- expand or explore a response;
- save selected perspectives;
- retrieve perspectives associated with your browser;
- provide optional feedback;
- adjust interface and privacy preferences.
Epifany is intended to support reflection and exploration.
It does not promise that a generated perspective will solve your problem, produce a particular result, or be suitable for your specific circumstances.

AI-generated content may be:
- inaccurate;
- incomplete;
- outdated;

- similar or identical to content generated for another user.
Epifany does not independently verify every generated response.
You are responsible for reviewing and evaluating generated content before using or relying on it.

Submitting User Content does not create a confidential, fiduciary, professional, or advisory relationship between you and Epifany.
Your User Content will be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

This permission does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Epifany.
It ends when the relevant content is deleted from our active systems, subject to technical backup periods, legal retention obligations, security requirements, and the retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Generated output
Content generated in response to your prompt is referred to as “Output”.
Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, Epifany does not restrict you from using Output generated for you for lawful personal or commercial purposes.
However:

- use Output as the sole basis for high-impact decisions concerning another person;
- use the service in a manner that could expose Epifany, its providers, or other users to legal, security, or reputational harm.
We may introduce reasonable technical limits to protect the service, manage costs, prevent abuse, or maintain fair access.
11. Saved perspectives and browser-based access
Epifany currently allows you to save perspectives without creating an account.
When you first save a perspective, Epifany may create an anonymous functional identifier in your browser.
This identifier allows Epifany to associate saved perspectives with that browser.
You acknowledge that:
- saved perspectives are not protected by a password or user account;
- access may depend on browser storage remaining available;
- clearing browser storage may remove the identifier needed to retrieve saved perspectives;
- saved perspectives may not automatically transfer to another device or browser;
- private browsing may prevent perspectives from remaining available;
- Epifany may not be able to restore access if the functional identifier is lost.
You are responsible for independently retaining any Output that is important to you.
The Save feature should not be treated as a permanent archival or backup service.
12. Intellectual property belonging to Epifany

13. Feedback
You may voluntarily provide suggestions, ideas, comments, or feedback concerning Epifany.
You agree that we may use such feedback to develop, improve, operate, and promote Epifany without payment or obligation to you.
This does not permit us to publicly identify you as the source of feedback without your permission.

Epifany may introduce paid features, subscriptions, usage packages, or other commercial services in the future.
Before you enter into a paid transaction, we will provide the applicable information, which may include:
- the principal characteristics of the paid service;
- the price;

- billing frequency;
- payment conditions;
- subscription duration;

No paid obligation will arise unless the price and relevant conditions are clearly presented and you take an action indicating agreement to purchase.
Additional payment or subscription terms may apply to future paid services.
In the event of a conflict, specific terms presented for a paid service will apply to that service while these general Terms continue to apply to the remainder of Epifany.
17. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep Epifany available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
The service may be temporarily unavailable because of:

You may stop using Epifany at any time.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe that:
- you have violated these Terms;

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, enforcement measures will be proportionate to the nature and seriousness of the issue.
We may act without advance notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary to address:
- fraud;
- abuse;
- security threats;
- unlawful activity;
- imminent harm;
- urgent legal obligations.
Termination or loss of access may result in saved perspectives becoming inaccessible.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will remain effective, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law, and disputes.
19. Disclaimer of warranties
Epifany is provided on an “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that:
- the service will always be available;

Your continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If you do not agree with an update, you should stop using Epifany.
22. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to mandatory applicable law, disputes arising from or relating to Epifany or these Terms will be submitted to the competent courts of Lausanne, Switzerland.

A waiver is effective only if made expressly in writing.
25. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any additional terms expressly presented for a specific feature or transaction, constitute the agreement between you and Epifany concerning use of the service.
They replace previous representations or understandings concerning the same subject matter, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
